AN UPDATE FROM THE FIELD FROM THE IODINE GLOBAL NETWORK

Hello friends of IGN,
As we all navigate through a new world currently faced with the current COVID-19 pandemic, I am constantly reminded of the role adequate iodine nutrition has on the overall health of our global population, and will continue to have as countries begin to emerge from the current pandemic. A proven, cost-effective and scalable intervention, adequate iodine nutrition prevents cognitive impairment in children and provides them with the potential to thrive in school. As the world comes together in unity against our common foe, we are thankful for our supporters and their generosity, which will allow us to continue to work toward a world free of iodine deficiency.
